JOMATIR organises conference on "Taxation, International Trade and Brexit in Business".


JOMATIR, in partnership with JPAB-José Pedro Aguiar-Branco Advogados and ANÁLISYS, is organizing a conference on "Taxation, International Trade and Brexit in Companies - current trends", which will take place on April 16th, at 2.30 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Municipal Library of Felgueiras.

This session will be a space for sharing and debate, where the speakers will address the specificities on challenges and solutions of international trade, presenting strategies to plan and make profitable exports through preferential trade agreements. The impact of Brexit on the Portuguese export fabric will be a prominent theme. This session will analyse possible scenarios with implications for the global economy.

The opening session will be chaired by Nuno Fonseca, Mayor of Felgueiras, Manuel Faria from ANÁLIYS and José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, founding partner of JPAB. The closing session will be held by Daniel Pereira, CEO of JOMATIR.

The program of the event is divided in 2 panels.

The 1st panel will address the topic of "Information Systems at the Service of the Company", which will have as speakers José Maria Azevedo dos Santos, Economist, and Ricardo Codeço, JPAB's tax lawyer.

The 2nd panel will deal with the "European Union Preferential Trade Agreements and Brexit" and will have as speakers Ricardo Codeço, JPAB tax lawyer, António Pinto Ribeiro, Economist, Fernando Pereira, Director of Alfândega de Aveiro and also a representative of APICCAPS, Portuguese Footwear Industry Association.

Thematic panels will be followed by a Debate session. The event will culminate with a "Green of Honour".
